Kane Henry Y11 Art at Gisborne Boys’ High School is always fun and exciting. It’s really cool how we are given the opportunity to develop our own interests in this subject. My drawing and painting skills have developed considerably through the large range of mixed media techniques taught. In subjects like these we are directed towards postive career paths, something with a real future. |

Chance Beckett - Ria Y12 I have had the opportunity to lead in areas such as kapa haka, choir, my House (Tawhirimatea) and in sport. Life is about growing through these kinds of challenges and extending the leadership roles we are given so that we lead in our community and in our work. |

Eli Waata - Amai Y13 (Head Prefect) I am grateful and extremely motivated to be the Head Prefect of Gisborne Boys’ High School in 2010. I continue to be impressed with the proud tradition and expectation of success the school has not only instilled within myself, but also each young man who has worn our school crest. The pursuit of mana is what we at Gisborne Boys’ High School strive to attain with courage knowing no defeat. |
