The school has a full range of modern facilities for study, sport, culture and recreation. They include: a well stocked library, 3 computer suites, new technology block with a well-equipped cooking facility soft and hard material workshops, 5 science laboratories, 2 Art rooms, Music and Drama suites, two gymnasiums, a weight training room, a heated swimming pool, squash courts and a multi-purpose all-weather playing surface.
The school also has a school-wide student computer network with over 200 computers all with access to broadband Internet and printing facilities.
In our new sports complex, Gisborne Boys’ High School will have an unparalleled facility to meet the physical needs of our young men. The sports complex when it is completed in 2010 will complement the school’s many sports grounds and facilities such as the heated swimming pool and the barn (our other indoor activities centre).
