Agriculture & Horticulture

Year 10 – Two 2-term courses designed to generate an interest in plants and other rural activities.

Year 11        NCEA Horticulture Level 1

Year 12        NCEA Horticulture Level 2

Year 13        NCEA Ag/Hort Level 3

2009 Unit Standards of a more practical type are offered to less academic students.  A particular emphasis on aspects of plant propagation and garden management.

Ongoing greenhouse improvements for 2009.  New misting unit and refurbished hot-bed.  A raised herb garden is to be developed.
